Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms govern your use of Sluice, provided by Anton Zubkov, individual entrepreneur, Ukraine ("we").
License
A Sluice license lets you use Sluice on the number of Macs it was bought for. You may move it between your Macs. You may not resell or share the license key, or work around the trial or license checks.
Trial
You may use Sluice free for 14 days on each Mac. After that, starting new tunnels requires a license.
Open-source components
Sluice includes strongSwan, openfortivpn and OpenSSL, which are distributed under their own licenses (GPL and Apache 2.0), not these terms. Their sources and how they are built are on the open source page.
Your responsibility
Use Sluice only with VPN gateways you are allowed to connect to, and follow the rules of the networks you connect to.
No warranty
Sluice is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but do not guarantee that it is free of errors or fits a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost data or profits, and our liability is limited to the price you paid for the license.
Refunds
If Sluice does not work for you, write to support@sluicevpn.app within 14 days of purchase for a refund.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to consumer rights you have in your country.
